Project To Improve PMTCT Service Utilization
The purpose of this project is to test out a
model for the PMTCT of HIV that will overcome
the social and cultural barriers to and promote
the uptake utilization of PMTCT services. The
model focuses on the following;
- Mobilization and involvement of community
stakeholders in community diagnosis
- Participatory designing of PMTCT interventions
- Multi-sectoral program implementation
- Community ownership and accountability
